Quick Tip: How To Incorporate Protein Into Your Vegan Diet
Meat is certainly not the only protein source out there. There’s protein to be found in nuts, seeds, beans, and legumes and even produce! Legumes (peas and lentils) and beans offer a flavorful, inexpensive and protein-rich alternative to meat. Contrary to what many believe, veggies and fruits such as spinach and blackberries can also be a source of protein.
One of my favorite ways to sneak protein into my diet is with a shake packed with greens and berries.
If time is against me and I'm in need of a quick meal, I'll opt out for a nice, organic veggie burger. Pair it with French fries and salad and you cant go wrong!
