A Second Look At Dairy
Milk is pretty healthy – if you’re a baby cow. It is perfectly designed by nature to feed these animals and make them quickly grow. But it's also a known fact that it's not a good food source for humans. Many people complain of suffering from lactose intolerance, which can include symptoms like stomach pain, bloating and diarrhea. Milk and other dairy intake has even been linked to prostate cancer, lung cancer, breast cancer, and ovarian cancer, also known by most to stems from regularly consuming these products, which then creates mucus to form the disease.
Our lives are not the only ones hanging in the balance. These farmers go through great lengths to produce milk, even if it means to put a substantial amount of stress on the cow by forcibly impregnating them. In order to produce milk, the cattle have to be in a continuous state of reproduction, only to have their calves immediately taken from them. Imagine that happening to you!
Its always best to open your mind to the lies we've been fed for hundreds of years. Cows milk is by no stretch of the imagination, a natural source of calcium. To get the calcium needed, try increasing your intake of healthy plant-based foods, such as fruits and veggies and lentils.
And if need be, there are a plethora of replacements for dairy products that will blow-your-mind!
