Fried Green Tomatoes



What’s better than a homegrown, fresh tomato picked right from the vine in your backyard? If you’re solely familiar with the red ones, then you are missing out! 

What are green tomatoes? Green tomatoes are simply tomatoes that didn’t ripen in time at the end of the growing season. They’re a staple in the southern states and add a nice touch to the art of cuisine. 


Here’s how I make mine…let’s get to it! 

Ingredients: flour, cornmeal, egg whites, and seasoning!…make sure you slice the tomatoes.


Season to your liking! 


Dip them in the flour, then egg wash, then the cornmeal and into the air fryer they go!
